One of the biggest anti-government rallies seen in Australia for decades, thousands of striking nurses and fellow unionists marched on the steps of Victorian Parliament today in Melbourne. The nurses are demanding better pay and conditions from the Victorian government and have defied Fair Work Australia orders to lift workplace bans.
